| Foliage display at Rood Pond in Central Vermont |
It's late foliage season and it's been a great one with some of the more vibrant fall colors we've seen in a while.
Much of the state has moved into a late season display but pockets of great color remain in the Champlain and Connecticut River valleys. Colors in southern Vermont can still be found in protected valleys.
You can read the full report here.
We had a cool and wet summer and fall so the foliage canopy was lush. Temperatures have remained on the cool side aiding in a timely fall color change and one of the best color displays we've had for a while. It's not too early to plan your foliage trip for next year.
